Well, the fantasy football season is officially over, but with the holidays just wrapping up, we're playing a little game of catch up at PayTheFan.com in terms of handing out some checks. Last night in Savannah, Ga., Bruce awarded our Week 16 Fantasy Football Contest winner, Derek Scranton, with his $10,000 check.
I think Derek would argue that it was worth the wait. Derek had only one team and started way back during Week 2 of the season. Again, it just goes to show you that fantasy games are truly games of skill. Bruce will be traveling to Virginia next to award our Week 17 winner. Stay tuned for that. And also stay tuned for an announcement on the winners of the PayTheFan.com season-long fantasy football game. The top twenty are sharing our industry leading purse of more than half a million dollars.
Of course I can't finish one of these posts before plugging the PayTheFan.com racing game. It's a great game, simple to play for even the non-racing fans, plus there are weekly prizes to the top three finishers and a whole lot of cash on the line for the end of the season.
