Michael Turner vs. Chargers
In his last four games, Turner has scored seven TD and averaged over 108 yards rushing.
This weekend he returns to San Diego to face his former team so expect him to be extra motivated against a defense that has underperformed all season. The Chargers are 16th vs. the run which is decent, but Turner is peaking now.
Thomas Jones vs. Broncos
Over the last month only Thomas Jones has been as hot as Michael Turner with Jones averaging 104+ rushing yards per game and scoring six TD. The Broncos come to the Meadowlands this weekend to face the Jets and Jones has to be smiling. Denver is 27th vs. the run and have given up the 4th most rushing TD (15) in the NFL.
Chris Johnson or LenDale White vs. Detroit
Detroit gives up the most rushing yards per game in the NFL (166) and gives up the second most per carry (4.9). Plus Jeff Fisher has stated the Titans are recommitting to the run this week. Johnson is second in the AFC in rushing yards, and White is tied for second in rushing TD with 11 making both solid plays.
