Are you guys ready for some excitement? Well that is what we have this weekend, pure excitement. There is telling what will happen at a plate race, we all just hope that the drivers keep their heads and make good decisions for most of the day. Unfortunately, that does not always happen.
In the first group, I like the 11, 18, and the 14. Those are some horses right there. The Childress cars will finish well. And don’t forget about our ’09 Daytona 500 champion. The 17 could make another charge to the front. Of course the Hendrick cars go without saying, but you can only start those guys a certain number of times, and these plate tracks can be a crap shoot on who makes it through the big wreck and who does not.
In the second group, I like the 2, 42, and last week’s winner, Mr. Martin. Our teams should be good to go here this weekend, so feel free to plug the 9 and 19 in your lineup. I like the 83, 1, and 96 as well.
In the last group, I am leaning towards the 12, 77, or the 44. The 47 is still rolling along pretty steady regardless of the track, so he would be a good call. For my dark horse, check on Robby Gordon throughout the weekend. He has a knack for good finishes at these restrictor plate races.
