Elliott’s Week 6 Advice - “…leaning toward the 44, the 43, and the 47”

Back home in Virginia and all I see is rain. Its great to be back here, but you sure hate to spend all your time indoors. Hopefully we will be able to get on the track tomorrow, but it is not looking good.
In the first group this weekend, I look for the 24 to take off if he has the pole from the rain. Clean air in front of him here at Martinsville may make for a long day for the rest of us. He is such a dominant force here. I like the 48 and the 88 to be on top of there game here. They both had a pair of top 10's here last season, with the 48 winning once. This is considered a home track for the 11, so he always is a threat for the checkers as well.
In the second group, I like the 9, the 5, and probably the 42. The Roush drivers should be good to you if you select them in this spot, so feel free to pop in the 6 or the 26. For my dark horse in this group, keep an eye on the 07 with Mr. Mears. He quietly racked up two top 10 finishes here last season.
In the last grouping, I am going to be leaning toward the 44, the 43, and the 47. Those three turned in some pretty good performances last week, and I think they will carry that momentum into Martinsville. The 55 or the 8 could work for you here as well.
Have a dry weekend everyone, and make sure to pull for my Tarheels on Friday night!! I'll see you guys at the track.
