Elliott’s Week 23 Advice - “I believe that the Ford camp may make some noise…”

After all the turns we went through last weekend, I am happy to get back to a nice wide oval. We had a nice 12th place finish last time we raced here in Michigan, so I am looking to improve on that a little to crack that top 10 at least.
In the first group, although the Hendrick cars will be strong, I believe that the Ford camp may make some noise here on Sunday, so I am going to lean toward the 16 and the 99 for my picks this weekend. I know, I know, the 48 and the 24 were very strong back in June. But you can't pick them every week, so that is the direction I am leaning. I could change my mind though!!!
In the second grouping, I like the 83, 5, and the 2. Those guys barring on any on track or mechanical issues will be around the top 10 all day. I also like the 39 and the 26. The 9 and 00 should finish well, and I think my team will be pushing for a top 10 on Sunday too.
In the last group, I like the Dodges mostly out of this group. The 43, 44, and 77 should have decent runs. A couple of Toyotas to watch are the 47 and the 7. And Bill Elliott is racing here again this weekend, and he always puts on a good show here in Michigan.
