Here we are in the winding down stage of the season in "Jaw-Ja". I don't know if any of you guys have ever been, but there is this bar restaurant in Atlanta, GA called the 3 Dollar Cafe. It is one heck of a place to go and watch some ballgames, grab a bite to eat, and turn one or two back as well. They have at least 100 TV's in that place and no matter what team you pull for, if it is televised that place will have one of their TV's on your ballgame. We usually hit that place at least once during the week we are here at the end of the season.
Now on to the picks. I decided I would let Jarrett back into this, you know, to make it a little more interesting here towards the end of the season. (That and I did not have any choice when I forgot to change my "C" driver who did not make the race two weeks ago. OUCH!!!!) Anyway, I am probably going to use either the 17 or the 99 here. Roush drivers fair pretty well here, and since most everyone has probably used up their 24 and 48 picks, that is probably the safest way to go. In the "B" group, I would look at the 16 and the 26, with the 41 and the 01 being strong starts as well. In the final group, I think I am going to stick with either the 15 or the 10.
Strategy is going to be the key element here in these final four weeks. You may not want to save your best driver options for the last two races because some drivers could be racing to protect their position only and not necessarily to go all out and win the race. Good luck.
