Have any of you guys or gals ever invested in a squeegee? We sure could have used a couple hundred of those things last weekend in California. That one leak on the track put me in a hole to DJ already. It knocked out two of my drivers at once. Somebody out there must have made Mother Nature angry... and every one of us know, that if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Well, onward to Vegas. Don't worry DJ, I am a good fisherman and I plan on reeling you in slowly.
In the first grouping this weekend, I am going to go out on a limb and probably choose a Hendrick team, and a Roush team. I know that I am not telling you anything that you did not already know here, but you can not argue with success. I do have a sneaky feeling that a Toyota team may break through this week. So you could throw one of those guys into the mix as well.
In the second group, I like the 5 and the 8. I like the 26 to have a good showing here as well.
In the last group, I like the 83 to back up his good performance in California, and the 66 as well. Your "C" group is definitely going to be the key group throughout the season. How you pick and choose this group, will make or break your season. So you may want to take a second look at a good driver such as DJ in the first few weeks, because he is only racing the first five races this year, and he can possibly get you a couple good finishes before he heads off to the booth.
Have fun this week... and DJ, that is me charging in your rear view.
