Wow these ten weeks have flown by. I know some of you are nervous, excited, nauseous, or just plain sick with the last weekend coming up. This has been crazy exciting and I can't wait to log onto the computer Sunday night to see who won. I guess I will spot DJ this year and come back next year to win a full season game on him. I will just beat him on the golf course to make up for it.
In the first grouping, if anybody saved a start for the 24 or the 5, well, what the heck are you waiting on you can't take these starts with you!! Just kidding. I figure most everyone has used up their Hendrick cars. I look for the 48 to kind of protect his lead this weekend. He will run strong again, but he may just keep out of trouble and run high enough to assure him the championship. If you have the 99 or the 17 left, this would be a good place to use them. The 1 should be good here as well this weekend. The 29 has run well here, so this may be a good spot to put him. In the second grouping, the 25 and the 9 would lead my picks here. The 16 is always good here, and the 22 may make a little noise to end the season. For the final grouping, this could be where the first Pay the Fan championship is won or lost this weekend. Will you take a chance on a darkhorse who may run well like the 83, the 00, or play it safe with the 15? Decisions, decisions. I would take a long look at the practice sheets before I made this pick on Sunday. You could really make up some distance with this pick.
Thanks again to everyone for playing our first Pay the Fan Fantasy racing game. This has been one of the funnest contests that I have ever seen or been a part of, and the best part of all is that a couple of you are going to get paid better than some of our drivers this weekend. You just can't beat that!!!! I look forward to the game again next year, and for many more seasons to come. And trust me, DJ is going down next year!!!! Good luck to all.
