Hello everyone and welcome to California. I hope everyone is ready for a great Sunday night race on Labor Day weekend. This should be a good one with everything tightening up for the chase. We don't have but a couple weeks until the chase, so everyone needs to make sure they go ahead and sign up for the end of season chase game that we are offering here at Pay the Fan. I believe winning that would be a really nice Christmas bonus. Lets get to the picks...
Hopefully, I can do a little better this week in all the groups, but my A and B groups were terrible at Bristol. This week should be a little better. In the "A" group this week, you can't look any further than the 99, the 18 and the 48. Those three will be very strong here, so a combination of those two should do well. The 17 and 11 will get you good finishes on Sunday.
In the "B" group, I like a bunch of the Roush drivers here. Take your pick from the 16, 6, and 26 and you should have a good run. The 9 and the 19 should be okay here.
In the "C" group, look for the Red Bull teams in the 83 and 84 to move toward the front. The 44 and the 66 could be good choices. You have really got to map out the rest of your season to see where you are going to start your drivers to maximize your point potential.
We are getting to the crucial stages here. Do your homework. After a good opening weekend of college football on ESPN and ABC, make sure to tune in to ESPN on Sunday night for a heck of a race. And don't forget to sign up for that chase game. I can't wait to find out who I am handing the check to for the season game, as well as the chase game!!!! Good luck.
