Well I hope everyone had a good week off and are ready to make some quality picks this weekend. This is the first Sprint Cup race of the season for our ESPN crew this weekend, so I hope you tune in with Dr. Jerry, Andy and I to what should be a heck of a race. The Brickyard is one of my favorite tracks and it was such an honor to be able to notch a couple victories there. On to this week's action...
In the "A" group this week, the Brickyard is always a good place for Smoke to turn on the jets, so look for the 20 to run well. The Childress cars will run well. But I am still looking hard at the 17. He is really tearing it up, and this could be another quality finish for him.
In the "B" group, I look for the 88 to have a solid finish. I also like the 9 and the 19. This would also be a good spot to use the 42. He had a runner up finish here a year ago, and he can really get around this place.
In the "C" group this week, this is a good spot for the 83 if you have not used up all of his starts. The 22 and the 15 should be all right. The 84 could be a quality start if he qualifies for the race.
