Good afternoon everyone and welcome to Sonoma. Well, there really is only one way to put this. What you have here this weekend is a group of guys who are considered elite road course drivers, a group of guys who can get a decent finish, and then a group of guys who have not quite mastered the road course setups just yet. I am going to try to steer you in the right direction.
In the "A" group, you have to look at the 18, 24, and the 14. Now you can still get quality finishes out of the 48, 11, and possibly one or two others, but those first three are the ones I will be looking to start come Sunday.
In the "B" group, you have a short list again of drivers who can get you those top finishes you are looking for. In this group, I really like the 42, 26, and the 07. For a dark horse, keep an eye on Mr. Gilliland. He got himself a second place finish here last year.
In the "C" group, here is where you will find all of your ringers. There are quite a few of these ringers entered into Sunday's race, so this may be a good time to plug one or two of them in for some of your regular starters. Out of those guys, I will be watching Said and Fellows most intently. Other drivers out of this group that may end up in my starting lineup are the 47 and the 7.
