Hello everyone and welcome to one of my favorite all time tracks. I got my first Sprint Cup win here at Michigan, and it was a feeling I will never forget. I put a little distance between Elliott and myself this past week. Let's keep that roll going.
In the "A" group this week, I really like the 48 and the 99. The 48 led the most laps at California earlier this year, and that is a place that is very similar to the layout here at Michigan. The 99 of course won the race in California and the July race here at Michigan last year, so he is a strong candidate for a victory as well. This would also be a good week to pair one of those drivers with the 1 or the 31. I have not mentioned the 31 probably as much as I should have, because all he does is finish races and finish them well. You are not going to get hurt if you start the 31 at any track. He is that good and that consistent everywhere he straps himself in. The 11 should be good along with the 20 as well.
In the "B" group this week, I am going to keep riding the 9 car as well as he is doing. And I got to believe that my man Elliott is going to have some luck go his way soon. He has had strong cars for the last several weeks, but has had a problem in each one. I think this may be the week for a good finish from him. The 16 and the 88 will be good. The 12 should fare well along with the 8. And for a dark horse, keep an eye on the 38. He could get you a good finish.
In the "C" group this week, you should definitely have the 83 and the 22 at the top of your list. The 66 ran well last week, and he should have a good finish here. And it might be time to put the 01 in for a start to see what he will do for you.
