Welcome to Texas everyone. I love this time of year. The air is getting cooler. The football rivalries are kicking into gear. And I start putting some distance in between myself and Elliott in our personal race game. Don't look now, but my race team has moved into the top 100, and that is without starting a team in the first week. Looks more and more like the golf and lunch will be on Elliott's tab for this season. That is, if I can keep this going.
In the "A" group this week, it has pretty much been a Hendrick parade the last several races, so if you still have one of these guys here, you may want to play that card. If not, I would look to the 17, the 31 or the 07 to look good here at Texas.
In your "B" grouping, I really like the 25 and the 16 here. If you have used those guys up, the 41 and the 9 have been making some noise lately, and Mr. Martin always runs well at Texas.
In the "C" grouping, I say go with a Toyota here. The 83 has faired pretty well on 1.5 milers this year, and the 55 and 00 have not looked too bad lately. If we can make a few minor improvements on my car, you could even take a chance on the 44 here as well.
I can't believe we have one hundred players within 220 points of first place. I can't wait to see the finish. Great job In The Groove for leading at this point. Can you hold on, or will someone come from back in the pack. This is almost as exciting as a regular race!!! Good luck guys and gals!!!
