Welcome to all of you from what is basically my home track here in Charlotte. This is going to be a Saturday night race, so you guys make sure that you have your picks done.
For the "A" group this week, I suppose you would all laugh me off of the page if I did not tell you that you need to look no further than the 48 car here in this event. He has absolutely dominated this event, so unless you want to try to save the 48 for a later date, here is where you would burn him. For the "B" group, I would turn to the Hendrick stable again and look at Casey Mears. He won here in May, and has looked strong during the Chase races anyway. The 43 and the 41 are sleepers in this grouping as well. In the "C" group, I look for the 10 and the 00 to look pretty good here come Saturday.
Today I am announcing a limited schedule for myself next year. I will race the Bud Shootout, the first 5 points races, and then end my career at the All-Star race from right here in Charlotte in '08. It has been a wonderful ride, and fans like you have given me many happy memories that I will keep with me forever. It is just that time to move on to the next phase of my career out of the car. Maybe I can concentrate more on my Pay the Fan picks with a limited schedule next year!!! I look forward to many more years on this site with you guys and I look forward to meeting the winner at the end of this season, and for many seasons to come. Good luck this week everyone!!!
