Welcome everyone to Bristol, and the last points race of my career. It has been the dream of a lifetime to do this for a living, and I thank all of you guys, the fans, the sponsors, and the many friends I have made throughout the years. It is hard to walk away, but it is time to move on to the next phase of my career. I look forward to seeing you guys at the races still, although I will have a microphone in my hand instead of a steering wheel. Now, on to the picks.
For the "A" group this week, there are so many good short track drivers here that it is hard to narrow it down, especially since Bristol is such a crap shoot. I am leaning toward the 29, the 18, and the 07 for this week. The 2 usually runs well here, as does the 99, but strategies are going to need to start being planned out, so this week could be a ground gainer week for some of you, if your strategies work out.
In the "B" group, I am looking toward the 12, the 88, and the 43. The 6 could be a good sleeper pick, and don't forget about the 16.
In the "C" group, I may just plug the 44 in there for old times sake. I like the 66 here, the 83 and possibly the 49 and the 84 if they qualify.
I want to thank you guys and all the fans again for all the memories good and bad throughout my career. It has been truly a gift to be able to do this for so long.
