This week we are in the great state of Alabama. I lost a little ground to Elliott last week, but he is just half a straightaway ahead right now and I think he is developing a push. This week is going to be a wild one I am afraid. This is the first COT race at a restrictor plate track, so none of us know exactly how these cars are going to handle in full out race conditions. Should be interesting.
For the "A" group this week, I am going to point you in a direction that you may not immediately look. The 2 car has third in the past two restrictor plate races and I think he will once again perform well here. Of course the 24 and the 48 are always strong, if you have burned those guys up or want to save them for a later date, the 2 and possibly the 29 as well could find themselves in victory lane. In the "B" group, I am leaning towards the 26 and the 16 to finish well. Roush cars have been pretty strong at the restrictor plate races here lately, so take a strong look at all of those guys. In the "C" group, oh what a wild group this could be. With Mike Wallace entering the race in the 88 car, I look for him to be a good dark horse here.
And let's everyone give ROADKING a hand for leading at the three week mark. You all need Notre Dame to win this weekend in hopes that will distract ROADKING a little. Good luck everyone.
