Welcome to the 2008 season everyone!!! This week we are in California, and I am looking forward to starting the year off on a high note by out pointing my good friend Elliott. I gave the rest of you a one week head start, just like last year, but I have many more weeks to catch you guys this year. This is going to be a heck of a season, and I look forward to the game. Now for this weeks picks...
In the A group this week, I am looking for strong performances from the 2 car and the 99. The 48 is the last car to win here, but you may not want to use him up here considering I am sure many used him last week. A good sleeper here is the 1 car. He had good success on these types of tracks last year.
In the B group, I think the 5, and the 41 are the picks here. The 9 runs well here, and should look to return to form this season anyway. A dark horse here could be the 8 car, with Mr. Martin now behind the wheel.
And in the C group this week, I look for the 22 to run well, and possibly the 83 should he make the race. I was really impressed with the way the 77 drove in Daytona, so he could be a dark horse here at this track as well.
