Hello again everyone and welcome to Dover. What a crazy finish we had last week. Tires blowing, running out of gas, what an amazing ending.
It should be another wild weekend here at the Monster Mile. I think the trophy given to the winner has to be in anyone's top 5.
In the "A" group this week, this is a good week to use the 1, 31, or the 17. Once again, I know what you are saying. The 99 looked good last year at Dover, and the Gibbs cars have been strong here, and the 24 is always strong. Why choose those other guys? Well, you are going to have to use all your starts for all your drivers in the "A" group this season. You might as well plug in the guys who have been strong this year but may not have the top finishes of the other cars, especially at tracks that favor their driving style.
In the "B" group this week, I like the 88 and the 12. I thought last week the 9 and the 19 were starting to hit on something, and I believe they are going to start a roll. Keep those two in mind. The 16 will run well here again. And keep an eye out for the 42 and the 26. They both had top 10 runs here last fall.
In the "C" group, I like the 83, the 66, and the 22 here this week. I usually don't favor rookies at the Monster Mile. It is a tough track for first timers. So I would probably lean toward those three cars for this weekend.
