Hello everyone and welcome to Darlington. We have another Saturday night race this weekend, so don't forget to set your lineups!!! We were on the cusp of greatness last week until the 11 cut a tire down. That would have been one heck of a week. But, that is how this sport goes. Let's make it up this week. On to it...
In the "A" group this week, you can not really go against what the 99 has accomplished on these types of tracks so far this season. He has been nothing short of awesome, outside of the engine failure in Atlanta. And as hot as Gibbs racing has been, you can not go wrong with any of those three cars here this weekend either. The Childress teams are all running well, but this may be the week you get back on the 24 bandwagon. The 24 has done extensive testing the last couple weeks, trying to turn the corner on returning their team to greatness. This could be the week that corner is turned, as Darlington has always been a favorite of the 24 team. The "Lady in Black" has a good relationship with that team.
In the "B" group this week, I really like the 8 car again, as well as the 12. The 88 should be loaded for bear this weekend, and I like the 6 to make some noise as well. The 16 runs well here, and for a darkhorse, take a look at the 26.
In the "C" group, I like the 28 in this spot. And the reason is, he has run fairly well on these tracks, and I would say a good number of you are using up some of the other "C" drivers and may need a good finish out of someone else. The 83 and the 15 should fair well, and the 22 is worth a look here.
