Good afternoon... I hope everyone is ready for Round 2 of our 10 round championship... I know I am... Elliott as well as a lot of you guys took an early lead on me after week one. But I look forward to reeling all of you back in.
In the first Dover race, Martin Truex made a statement that he was going to make the chase by leading the majority of the laps and turning the race into a runaway. That is definitely a strong pick if you are leaning that way in your "A" group, but there were several of the Roush drivers in contention that you may want to look for as well. In your "B" group, Newman is usually pretty strong here but the one I have had my eye on lately is the young up and comer David Ragan. He has looked really good here lately and could be a great sleeper pick in this race. In your "C" group, it really is going to depend again on which of these guys can make the race, and then who gets a handle on the car in the remaining practice time. I would once again look for Menard's Chevy to be the leader of this group, with Riggs, Vickers, and possibly Reutiman being the sleepers to come away with a good finish. Check back on Saturday night as I will have made my picks. And good luck to everyone.
