Quarterback
Wow. We're coming off another exciting week of Pay the Fan football. We witnessed a close finish for 1st place. Tom Brady is sitting on a high horse. His ability to maneuver inside the pocket and connect down field makes him an exceptional QB. Look for Brady to keep the Pats in 1st place, and buck the Cowboys on Sunday.
Wide Receiver
Cincinnati has had an inconsistent ride this season, but they had last week to rest their legs. Look for them to bounce back against Kansas City. I like Houshmandzadeh in my lineup. And how about Larry Fitzgerald? The Pittsburgh grad torched an abysmal St. Louis defense for 136 yards and a TD.
Running Back
Running Ronnie Brown has the hot hand. Trent Green is banged up, so Miami will no doubt lean on their running attack to score against Cleveland. If I was playing on Sundays I'd want to hand the rock to LT. Oakland will line-up the eight man front against the chargers, but that won't stop Tomlinson. He should chalk up some major points at home against the Raiders.
Team Defense
The skins shut down a dangerous passing attack last week. Washington is my defensive pick for week 6. They shut down the Lions in week 5, and they'll cause problems for the Pack on Sunday. Don't miss a match up between two hot football clubs.
Tight End
I need a sure thing at tight end this week. Lets go with Chargers tight end Antonio Gates. He continues to light up defenses with his speed and wide receiver moves. Phillip Rivers and Gates will connect for 6 on Sunday.
Kicker
We saw a spectacular display of kicking up in Buffalo on Monday night. I didn't miss a minute of that game. However, my kicker this week is Jay Feely. Miami will rely on the ground game against the Cleveland Browns. If Ronnie Brown can't put the ball in the end zone they'll need to rely on the leg of Feely for some points.
Good luck this weekend,
TB
