Now that you've all mastered our fantasy football contest you can try your hand at our full season racing game. Racing 2008 launched on our site yesterday, so check us out. I plan on beating Mr. Jarrett at his own game.
Quarterback
Two weeks left to play ladies and gentlemen. Make sure you select players that are going to play tough down the stretch. Watch out for the studs that may end up on the bench resting their legs for the post season. Heck I've played in some of the toughest games of my career in the last two weeks of the season. Players are tired, beat up and are usually facing difficult game conditions. My QB for week 16 is Drew Brees. He's playing well and facing a must win showdown with Philly coming to town.
Wide Receiver
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Colston is feelin' it down in lovely Louisiana. He needs to keep racking yards if he hopes to show his stuff in the playoffs. I also like Brandon Marshall, another second year split end putting up solid stats. Denver's season has been all over the map. Look for Marshall to prove himself yet again on Sunday in San Diego.
Running Back
I'm running out of options at the running back position. Earnest Graham has really picked up the slack for the Bucs in the latter part of this season. He can score on the ground and catching passes. My number two running back this week is Willie Parker. He's playing indoors at St. Louis in a must win game. Pittsburgh should give the Rams fits on ground and in the air on Sunday.
Team Defense
The Chargers were able to clinch the division thanks to a dominating performance by their defense. However, if San Diego wants a top seed in the playoffs, they'll need to close out with two victories. Watch the Charger's defense lead the way against Denver, a team eliminated from the playoffs.
Tight End
Green Bay clinched a first round buy, but must finish ahead of the Cowboys for that golden #1 seed. I think Favre will spread the ball against the Bears in what could be a snowy day in Chicago. Look for him to dish the ball to Donald Lee, especially if his receivers are tied up in the secondary.
Kicker
Let's go with a Pittsburgh Steeler tonight. Jeff Reed is automatic at the extra point and near perfect from deep yardage.
Happy Holidays!
