Quarterback
Welcome back from the holiday week folks. There's nothing quite like Thanksgiving dinner and football. And hey, things are heating up here at Pay the Fan. Congrats to the winner of the racing game. Have fun meeting Mr. Dale Jarrett next week. Now let's get right down to it. My QB this week is none other than Mr. NFL, Mr. Heroics himself, Brett Favre. Don't forget to tune in on Thursday for the Packers-Cowboys showdown. And besides, I think Tony Romo is a little distracted right now. He's facing a lot of hype and some interesting off the field drama with Ms. Jessica Simpson. Whew.
Wide Receiver
I like to go with players when they're hot and I still have Wes Welker to burn. I like him this weak against a struggling Baltimore Ravens D. If the Ravens continue to turn the ball over New England should have plenty of times to score, and be throwing early and often. I also like Greg Jennings, the pride of the MAC conference, against the Cowboys. He's become Brett's primary downfield weapon.
Running Back
I'm going with Jamal Lewis on the road against Arizona. Cleveland is consistently putting up big offensive numbers. Lewis burned for 134 yards last week against Houston. My number two back is the unsung Tar Heel, wheelin' Willie Parker. Let's hope Pittsburgh rolls that field out this week. Willie should do well against Cinci.
Team Defense
I've been waiting to bust out the Pats D. What a better time than against a very weak Baltimore offense? New England will bounce back this week after giving up a few scores to the Eagles. Look for the Pats to confuse and disrupt Kyle Boller.
Tight End
My tight end is Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins. He's an easy pick this week. Cooley leads the team in receptions and already has tied his career high of 7 touchdowns this season. He's sure to catch more than a few in his bread basket this week against Buffalo.
Kicker
Do ya'll have as much fun as I do picking kickers? Let's go with Janikowski again. I got lucky with him in week 11. Let's hope lighting strikes twice in Oakland.
